Canadian wants to visit China

I am a Canadian working in South Korea. I would like to visit China in December. What are the steps to get a Chinese visa as a Canadian living in South Korea? How long does it take to get a Chinese visa?

China visa application in South Korea should be done through a travel agency, with your ARC valid for more than 6 months. China visa processing from embassy or consulate takes 4 working days in general, it can be quicker if you pay extra express service fee. The list of travel agencies can be found on their official website, here it is the list designated by the Embassy in Seoul: http://kr.china-embassy.org/chn/lsqz/ls_qz/ls_qz_13/t229558.htm (in Korean)
