5 tigers and 1 snake in a family

My family has five tigers, my mother in law is born in 1938, my husband and I are born in 1962, my eldest daughter in 1986 and my youngest daughter in 1998, I also have a son who is born in 1989 which is the year of snake. Are we(tigers) too strong for him? We loves one another very much but he is always on the the quiet side.
