About:Jinshanling Great Wall

Bus convenience to Jinshanling Great Wall

Hi!

Is it convenient to take the bus to this place? Are the stops properly labeled?
Which of the 2 ways would you prefer - via Miyun County or via Chengde?

How many hours would it take to travel by bus?

And lastly, how about the return trip to Beijing. Are the bus schedules as frequent from Jin Shan Ling.

It is generally convenient to take bus to Jinshanling Great Wall. The stops are mostly properly labeled. Either of the two ways are OK. Well, you may can also choose another way. If you travel to Jinshanling Great Wall during the period April 3 to November 1, you can take the special tourism bus from Dongzhimen, Beijing to the scenic spots directly. The bus departs at 07:30 on weekends and holidays from Beijing and back to Beijing at 14:30 from Jinshanling Great Wall. It takes about 2 hours.

It is bus No.980. It costs CNY100 in total, including the round-trip bus ticket, admission fee, cable way, and the tourist car at the scenic spot.
