planning to visit the zoo this national holiday in xian.

my friend and i plan to visit the qinling zoo this october holidays. is it recommendable? is this place also a visiting spot for tourist during these days? do we need to reserve for the  tickets?please give us detailed informations on how to and if its possible to visit this zoo? we don't want to travel far because we already know the flow of people around the tourist destinations across china. it's so enormous and likely to be tiring so decided to do local xian spots. any suggestions.thank you very much.

It is recommendable to visit the zoo this October Holidays. I do not think you need to reserve for the tickets in advance.If you want to go there, the best way is to take the subway line 2 to reach the Exhibition Center Station and then take a taxi to reach the zoo directly. It will cost you about 100 RMB to reach the zoo.Or you can take the Tourism Bus 9 to reach the zoo directly, but the bus will be very crowded during the weekends. If you just want visit some local places, I think the Xian City is also a good place. There are not so many people on the wall.
