Planning to visit the zoo this national holiday in Xian.

my friend and i plan to visit the qinling zoo this october holidays. is it recommendable? is this place also a visiting spot for tourist during these days? do we need to reserve for the tickets?

please give us detailed informations on how to and if its possible to visit this zoo? we don't want to travel far because we already know the flow of people around the tourist destinations across china. it's so enormous and likely to be tiring so decided to do local xian spots. any suggestions.
