tourism visa for china

Question

I'm a Colombian citizen and I'm travelling to China on December the 25th, should I start the application process on September the 10th or later on? The bank information that has to be presented should be from august?Thanks.

You'd better apply in October or later on, because the single entry China visa is valid for 3 months only. Bank statement should be the latest 3 months when you submit your visa application. BTW, return ticket and hotel reservation may be required.
