Can I apply for tourist visa to Hong Kong from the Chinese Embassy in Colombo?

I'm a Sri Lankan living in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Can I apply for tourist visa to Hong Kong from the Chinese Embassy in Colombo?

Yes, sure. You can submit your visa application for HK to Chinese embassy, but please note that it may take longer time for processing if approval from HK immigration department is necessary.
