About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

Tibet visa time from nepal

I'm an Australian and wanting to travel to Tibet for about 1-2 months so i was wondering, how long does the Chinese visa from Nepal allow you to enter the country. And is it possible for extenstions or multiple enteries

A single entry China tourist visa is valid for 3 months with duration of 30 days. But if you want to enter from Nepal to Tibet, you must get a Tibet Travel Permit issued from Tibet Travel Bureau first. The China visa can be extended within China at local PSB. For Tibet Travel Permit, you are required to apply through a China travel agency, so, just contact them for more details.
