About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Please advise the limit of Australian currency I can take into China for personal use.

Please also advise limit pof Chinese RMB I can take into China.

You can take 5,000 US dollars (or equivalent in any foreign currency) or 20,000 CNY into China without declaration. You can also take more, but you need to declare it nd go through corresponding formalities.
