About:Chengdu Travel

What else can i do if i only have one day in Chengdu?

Hi I have only one day in Chendgu before departing to jiuzhaigou the next morning. I am planning to go see Leshan giant buddha that day and was wondering if i have time to visit any other attraction in chengdu. Any advise? Thanks in advance

I am afraid that you have no time to visit another attractions in Chengdu. Leshan Giant Buddha is located to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province , which is more than 160 kilometers from Chengdu City by the expressway. You may need one day for a visit there.

Then u should walk around the city. there are few places u might wanna go: chunxi road(for shopping),jingli(almost for food), wuhouci(tomb of ancient chinese strategist) etc

Or you may visit Leshan Giant Buddha in the morning and then go to Mt. Emei in the afternoon. They're not far away from. But it's a hard day because you have to depart at 7:30 and go back to your hotel around 19:00.
