Book Flights Before Visa Application?

Do I need to book flights and hotel before applying for a visa? Is the visa straightforward to get for Thai people? I don't want to book flights and then get the application rejected. Their website says include tickets "if necessary" but doesn't say what circumstances it is neessary

Seems that you have to book the air tickets first, since it is a required document for your China visa application.

Round way tickets are really needed. It s easy to get the visa to china ,tons of people are there.if it s hard, there won't be so many people..
