Chinese Visa for a family

My Partner, my 18 month old daughter and myself are traveling to China in the middle of September and I have not applied for a Visa yet. I am planning to send the application next Saturday, so I have all the documents and photos in place that are required for the application.
Would you please advice me how log it could take to get an approved application if I post it on 10th August?
