We are staying at Sofitel Hyland on Nanjing road and want to go to mass on Sunday 19 August preferrably in the afternoon.  Could you find out Mass times and churches nearby.

Moore Memorial Church is the nearest to your hotel, but I wonder whether it is suitable for you. They have masses at 14:00 and 19:00 in the afternoon. It is near the People's Square and you can take the subway line 2 to reach.Or you can go to Xujiahui Cathedral, which is the biggest cathedral in Shanghai. They have masses at 12:00 Sundays. As for this cathedral, you may need to take the subway line 2 to reach Zhongshan Park Station and change to Yishan Road. Then you can take a taxi there.
