You can go to Zhaogongkou Long-distance Bus Station to take bus to Shanghai. The bus fare is about CNY340 and it takes a very long time. You can not buy the ticket in Shanghai. You need to go to the bus station to buy it. Well, the best way from Beijing to Shanghai is by high speed train which only takes around 5 hours.
