Z-visa (apply in Hongkong or Macau)?

Hi, I have the same condition with MGrace,I am here in China now and wanted to go to HK or Macau to exit rather than coming back to the Philippines to renew my visa. Is it easier to renew in HK?or in Macau?and what requirements do I need to have to secure another z-visa,because my (old employer) will cancel it as soon as I finished the contract. My new school is willing to help me apply for a new one and will give all the necessary documents for my visa application.Please help me with this one.thanks=)
