By train, right? You can take high speed train from the South Railway Station to Wuhan. Actually, no direct transport from Baiyun airprot to the South Station, you need take the subway and a subway transference. The whole journey takes about 70 min or longer. You can take subway line 3 at Airport South MTR Station and get off at Jiahewanggang. Then you need transfer to subway line 2 to reach the South Railway Station (the terminal station of subway line 2) directly.

Hi Nina,
I am going there next week. And will be arriving at Baiyun Airport at 1am.

So is there any hotel (not too expensive) near the airport that i can stay? OR

Should i stay in the city and then go to the train station tomorrow? OR

Should i go straight to somewhere near the train station? And how to go there? Is the MTR line still operating? How much by cab? Is there any hotel near the train station which is walking distant?

Both South & North Railway also can go to Wuhan? What is the difference? Any price difference?

What is the frequency of the train travelling to Wuhan?

Some friends tell me to just spend a nite in a spa, got food and massage and can shower. Is this a good option? If yes, any recommendation?

Hi, as to the cheap hotels near the airport, I recommend Dongzhi Hotel and Baikai Aviation Hotel. The former is about 700m from the airport and the later is 1km away from the airport. And the accommodation fare is around CNY150.

You can certainly go to the train station next morning. Generally, the hotels near the airport with a cheap price may not have a good service, so you can book a hotel near the train station in advance and then go straight there upon your landing. But the MTR will have ended service at that time, so maybe the taxi is the best way for your late journey. The cab fare is CNY200 or more. Hotels near the train station may be at least 4km away.

Both the D train and G train can be taken at the two train stationes. But relatively, the fare at the north train station may be cheaper, about CNY15 cheaper per ticket. About the train schedule, you can search on the website:

Generally, nearly all the 3star or higher level hotels provide massage and spa.
