have a friend he italian but move to states for work but went to china and now stranded

how can he get help to return to the states where he moved to and get back to work and get his kids in school back in the states... he afraid if he go to the consular office for italains in china he will be deported back to italy he has moved to the states for work

Your friend may just ask help from the Consulate-general of Italy in Guangzhou for help. Yes, it's possibly that your friends and his kids will be deported back to Italy.
