Do we need a visa if we are just planning to stay in china for 2 days?

Hi, i am swedish and my wife is from philippines and we are planning to go home to philippines this decenber and on our way back to sweden we would like to stop in beijing and take a quick visit for 3 or 2 days maybe...we are wondering if we need to apply for visa? And if we need ? Wat are the requirements for me and for my wife? Thank You.
