Currency exchange at Guangzhou airport

Hi
I am traveling to bangkok and was wondering if I will be able to exchange Chinese RBM for Thai Baht at your currency exchange or one of your banks. If so do I need to be a Chinese citizen to do so as this is the case at most banks I have been to.
