About:China Embassy in Thailand

I would like to know if I can apply for the Tourist Visa of China from Bangkok

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am going to Bangkok in tree months and I would like to know if I can apply for the Tourist Visa of China from Bangkok and what I need to apply, as I am going to Beijing in four months. My nationallity is Uruguayan. Many thanks. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Recently, I heard that most oversea Chinese embassies and cosulates require that passport holders from a third country must provide their resident permit or work visa to apply for a China visa. I'm not sure the rule is the same in Bangkok, so Iadvise you contact the visa office of China Embassy there directly to know about this by phone 662 2478970 between 14:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday yourself.
