Hi,We are a family of four and will arrive to Shangahi mid August at about 2 35 in the afternoon at Pudong Airport. We are planning to go to Suzhou and stay for 3 nights, then move on to Hangzhou for 3 nights before spending another 3 nights in Shanghai.Is this better or should we go to Hangzhou then Suzhou then back to Shangahi ?We are also thinking of travelling to nearby water towns near Suzhou like Zhouzhuang, Tongli, etc. Please advice the best way to get from Shanghai to Suzhou ? Then from Hangzhou to Shanghai. Thank you so much.Ms Susie L.

Hi, welcome to China!I do think it's a good itinerary for traveling, Shanghai - Suzhou - Hangzhou - Shanghai. Here is my adivice about your trip:Day1, Shanghai for a rest; Day2-3,Suzhou; Day3-6, Hanzghou; Day7-9, Shanghai. Anyway, I mean you can stay longer at Hangzhou and Shanghai. You can also go to Hangzhou first, because there is direct transport from Shanghai both to Hangzhou and Suzhou.You mentioned that you wanna visit some water towns as well. From Shanghai to Zhouzhuang, you can take a direct long-distance bus at Shanghai Long-distance General Bus Station to Zhouzhuang. Besides, Zhujiajiao Water Town of Shanghai is also suggested.    From Shanghai to Suzhou, as you arrive at Pudong Airport, you can take a direct shuttle bus at the airport to Suzhou. The bus operates from 10:00 to 20:00 every 40 min. You can take the bus in the south end on the second floor of the airport terminal's bus parking lot. From Hangzhou to Shanghai, you can take a high-speed train at Hangzhou Railway Station to Shanghai. It takes only about an hour.
