Is check in earlier allowed to avoid penalties?

Hi, my visa expires on the 19th but I booked a flight that leaves on the 21st. Would it be okay if I checked in two days earlier to avoid penalties?

No, it is two-day overstay in China. It is easy for you to apply for a visa extension at local PSB with your air ticket.

You may also need to provide Registration Form of Temporary Residence from a hotel or local police station. The Application Form for visa extension is available at PSB office.
