About:Shenyang Travel

Thinking of visiting in August on my way from Xian to Shenyang.

What are the attractions for a seasoned China traveler?
What Hotels are reasonable and close?
Will limited Chinese suffice?
Anything I should be aware of? (Dangers/Must sees/Tips)
Thanks (xie xie)

Shenyang Imperial Palace which is the second only to the Forbidden City in the extent of its preservation in Beijing. It is a World Heritage. Another heritage is Fuling Tomb, which is worth to see. Besides, Qipanshan Scenic Area and Strange Slope Scenic Area are also woth to see.
There are some good hotels near the Immperal Palace.
The temperature is still high in August, but you need to prepare some long sleeved clothes in case of the rainy day. It will rain a lot in August.
