how to get to sofitel sheshan oriental hotel in sheshan?

I am about to book at the Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Oriental and wonder if it is reachable by public transportation from downtown (Bund area)? If so, how? I read that line 9 goes to Sheshan station and the hotel would be 1km from there? Is that correct?  I guess I should then take a taxi (because of suitcase) to the hotel? Cost?Any suggestions welcome.Thanks

Yes, it is right to take the subway line 9 to reach the Sheshan Station. The distance between your station and the hotel is about 2 kilometers, so it is acceptable to take a cab to your hotel with the money no more than about 12 RMB. You take take the subway from Xiaonanmen Station about 4 kilometers away from the bund.
