I am in Sofitel Sheshan oriental and want to go to Nanjing road.

what is the best transportation? and if by taxi what is the fees?

From your hotel, walk west around 350 meters to get to Sichen Road Jiasong Road Bus Stop.
Take bus no.Songjiang 97 to Sheshan Metro Station. Then transfer to metro line 9 to Lujiabang Road and take metro line 8 to Laoximen. After that, take metro line 10 to East Nanjing Road, Exit 5. If you take a taxi from your hotel directly, the cab fare is CNY 130 to CNY 140 in the day time.
