About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Do we use date of entry into Hong Kong on August 21st or Beijing on August 27th?

We are flying into Hong Kong on August 21st and then Beijing on August 27th. On the visa application, do we put the date of the 27th as our first entry date?

First entry date refers to the date you enter mainland China. So, August 27th is ok.
