High speed train from Shanghai to Beijing

How can I take the high speed train round trip Shanghai-Beijing-Shanghai. How long does it take for round trip? How much does it cost? Kindly let me have the location where I can start from Shanghai either in Chinese or English language. And kindly recommend a hotel near the high speech railway station where safe and clean, pls.

1. You can catch a G train (high speed train) at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Beijing and the terminal is Beijing South Railway Station. And it is right there that you can take a return G train to Shanghai.
2. It takes about 10 h for the round trip. And the fare is CNY 555 for second-class seat and CNY 935 for first-class seat, both for one-way ticket.
3. Cosidering you demand, Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai is a nice choice which is about 7 km from the railway station. Anyway, it is a little expensive.
