thousand buddha mountaintaishan in 1 day

Question

I plan to go to Thousand Buddha Mountain in the morning and Taishan (Tai'an) in the afternoon. Is it possible to do so? and is there any information about bus route to Thousand Buddha Mountain from Jinan downtown? Thank you !

Actually, it is a little bit far from Thousand Buddha Mountain to Taishan: the former in Jinan City and the latter in Taian City. Therefore, I don't think one day is sufficient to finish your trip of Thousand Buddha and Taishan. You'd better achieve your trip in more than one day. The bus no. 2, 62, 48, K51, K56 can take you from the downtown of Jinan to Thousand Buddha Mountain.
