Can I apply and receive a tourist visa for china from the Edmonton location (gold mountain) and if so what is the fastest way -- same day or next day is what I would prefer.  I need a tourist visa for single entry 3 months duration .

You can submit your visa application directly to Chinese consulate in Calgary and use rush/express service if you need it fastest. Or, just send your application to Gold Mountain Travel Service Inc, which is an authorized visa service agency by the China Consulate-General in Calgary, they will handle this on your behalf.
