You need to prepare a single certificate before going to China, as well as your birth certificate. These two should be together with Chinese translations, and get them authenticated at Chinese embassy/consulate in Philippines. Other documents are your passport. The processing takes no more than an hour at his local civil affairs office.

thanks for a swift response, Alvin. Where can I have my documents be translated in Chinese? Can i do this in China, on the same day we want to get marry? or it would take days to translate my documents in chinese. I would go to China with all these documents but not translated yet in Chinese, can you give me an advice or a time frame to accomplish all these documents as i have limited time to stay in China and need to go back in Singapore for work. I also would like to know what are the requirements i need to apply for a visa. Do i still need a letter of invitation from him? I am working at Singapore, E pass holder. Thanks again.

No, it can not be done within China since the original documents and the translations need to be authenticated at Chinese embassy/consulate in Philippines. You can contact Chinese embassy/consulate in Philippines first if they provide translation service.
