You have to go to the China Embassy in Brisbane to submit the application in person with your Hk ID card, one photo of 50X40 mm and passport application form ID843 and payment form ID853 which should be fully and truly filled.

Thank you but I still haven't got the information that I needed. I want to go to Hong Kong directly from here and may be during my stay I might go to Mainland as well. So I only want to know what are the required documents to do so before I apply for HKSAR Visa.Thank you

I am confused. Please make your questions clear first. Are you going to apply for HK SAR passport renewal? or HK SAR visa?? or China visa you need to visit mainland China when you are in HK?
