About:Chinese Embassy in New Zealand

I hold a New Zealand Passport but live in Australia how would I apply for a visa to China.

You can apply in Australia for a China visa with your valid Australian visa as well as entry record, both the original and the copy. If you are in Australia free of visa or with ETA or electronic visa, Australian entry record(stamp) should be provided, both the original and the copy. Other basic requirements are your passport, application form with photo, a travel itinerary is required is any.

I am in the same boat. Was there any problem with obtaining your chinese visa?

What did you put on your application form - did you answer yes have a visa or no visa, if answered yes have a visa - what did you put down for the visa number and expirary.
