Do I need police verification for second time visit to china or not?

Dear sir, please let me know, if I do need police verification for second time visit to china or not. I am going to apply for chinese visa for my second visit.

If it's your second time to China, the police verification will not be requried normally, but the visa officers have the final say to this. You'd better contact the visa office of the China embassy first to know about the visa application first.
