visa application requirements for a student who want to go china to visit friend

The detailed requirements are as following:
1. Original passport remaining to be valid for at least 6 months from the date of application and with sufficient blank visa pages.
2. One completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken passport photo (only 2 inch * 2 inch color photo with light background like light blue and white is acceptable);
3. If you are a third country (non-Indonesian) passport holder, you should provide the original and a copy of KITAS (permanent residence in Indonesia).
4. A letter of invitation issued either by your friends/family members residing in China, or a letter of invitation issued by a Chinese company (e.g. Chinese Travel Agency)
5. If you can’t submit the letter of invitation, you may submit ALL of the following documents:
1）Itinerary
i. Please list the purpose of your visit to each of your destination city on a time sequence.
ii.The itinerary should be signed by the applicant or the messenger. Duty stamp is not required.
iii.A travel group can share one (1) itinerary with their name list on it if they will travel together.
2）Hotel Reservation.You should provide the printout of online booking or the hotel voucher registered with the applicant’s name.
3）Round Trip Air Ticket.You should provide the printout of online booking ticket or the copy of ticket.
