About:Macau Visa Policy

Macau visa for resident visa holders in mainland china

Hi,
Im a Sri lankan currently working in Guangzhou. I currently possess a resident permit for Mainland china valid until end Feb 2013. On enauiry i found that i can only apply for a macau visa from Sri lanka. Is there any way i can apply for a macau visa from Guangzhou.

If possible kindly give the guidelines for the same.

Hi, you can send completed application forms by posts directly to the Macao Immigration Department or through sponsors/references in Macao.

The posting adress is Immigration Department Building Travessa Um do Cais de Pac On, Taipa, Macao

Required documents are as following:
1. A completed application form [Note: The forms are available at the subdivision providing the service or accessible from the CPSP website.
2. Copy of the bio data page and used pages in a valid passport;
3. Document of financial status (e.g. bank statement, deposit in savings account, tax payment receipt, employment certificate, etc.);
4. Document of transportation to Macao and accommodation arrangement (e.g. round-trip air tickets and hotel room reservation receipts, etc.);
5. your resident permit in China.

If your apply through a HK sponsor, he still needs to submit the following:
(1) A certified authorization letter;
(2) 1 photocopy of his or her valid identification document (the original document should be presented for verification).

Thanks for your response on my query yesterday. It was very useful. How much is the visa fees (is it USD 30) per eprson and how can i make a payment if i send the documents through post.
