About:Hong Kong Trains - High Speed Rail

Shanghai to Hong Kong train

Me and my sister (both South Africans) will be comming from Shanghai to Hong Kong.
Will we allowed to book the trains ticket online from South Africa or South Korea before we come to China and how will that work? will we be able to get a map of Hong Kong at the train station? Will we be able to buy the "Octopus Card" at the train station?

Definately yes, as long as you can reach the Internet, it's ok to book the train tickets in advance no matter where you are. May the following website would help you.

Don't worry! You can get a HK map in the railway station. And it's easy to find the ticket office selling Octopus Card at the railway station.
