Can a Filipino apply her First China Visa at Hong Kong without going back ti philippines

My boss's wife is a Filipino and my boss is Japanese, he is going to work in Shanghai, they are now staying in Hong Kong for more than 6 years without Hong Kong ID card. My boss's wife is 5 months pregnant. How can she get a China visa without going back to Philippine? Or does she need a visa to go to China? Or Can she get one at Shanghai Airport?

Hi, Koly, your boss's wife need a visa to Mainland China. There is no need to go back to Philippine. She can apply an accompanying Z visa at the Office of the Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of P.R.C. in HKASAR with the following documents:
1. Valid passport (at least six months before expiration) with at least two blank visa pages left and under good condition.
2. Completed Chinese visa application form A and B with clean and tidy hand-writting, one colored passport photo taken in the last six months
3. Authorized Invation Letter and Alien Employment License for Foreigners from the Ministry of Human Sesourse and Social Security of the PRC shall be provided;
4. Health Certificate issued by China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau or HK public hospitals.
5. Chinese visa records;
6. Their marriage certificate.
7. Her residence permit/HK ID card.

By the way, it is difficult to get at Shanghai airport. She should applly in advance by the above way.
