Z visa application while in Korea

I am from Canada and have been teaching in Korea for nearly a year, I have 2 months left on my ARC. I have been to China on a travel visa within the past 2 years. I am wondering if it is possible for me to apply for this Z visa while I am I am in Korea? I am currently in Gwangju and would love to know of any travel agents that can do this for me.
Thanks

No, you can apply in HK if a visit to HK is possible for you. ARC valid for 6 months is required for any applicants for China visa in South Korea. Or, you can send back your application to Canada, let your family or friends to do it on your behalf.

I think you can try to apply Z visa at the Office of the Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of P.R.C. in HKASAR (Alvin mentioned above) with the following docuements:
1. Authorized Invation Letter and Alien Employment License for Foreigners from the Ministry of Human Sesourse and Social Security of the PRC shall be provided;
2. Health Certificate issued by China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau or HK public hospitals
3. Valid passport (at least six months before expiration) with at least two blank visa pages left and under good condition.
4. Completed Chinese visa application form A and B, one colored passport photo taken in the last six months.
5. Applicants should be physically in HK before entrusting other people to submit their applications.
6, Applicants with HK resident status should provide personal Hong Kong Identity Card and a copy of the said ID card, besides the passports and other required documents. Applicants have to write an authorized letter when they entrust people to submit the applications.
7. Your Chinese visa records

Good luck!
