About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

Where can apply for a tourist visa. Can I apply for it in Toronto?

I am Canadian residing in the US. I am planning to visit Toronto in August and planning to travel to China in October (visiting Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai) for a month. Where can apply for a tourist visa. Can I apply for it in Toronto

Hi, you can apply in Toronto if you formerly reside there, the following documents are needed:
1. The original copy of the passport must have at least six months of remaining validity with enough blank visa pages;
2. One complete Visa Application Form signed by the applicant;
3. One recent 2X2 inches size passport photo, showing a full front view of the applicant's head and shoulders without head covering.
A single entry China visa is valid for 3 months, so, you can also apply in US where you reside.
