Applying for Japan tourist visa with F-type China Visa

Hi. I am a student from Indonesian who is currently studying in Beijing. I'm holding a F-type China Visa. Is it possible to apply for Japan tourist visa? What do I need? And how about if I still have a valid US visa? Thank you

Applying Japanese visa in China requires resident permit or Z visa, so I am afraid that you can not apply in China.
