About:Chinese Embassy in Switzerland

As a UK passport holder living across Swiss border in France, can I apply for visa to Bern as closer

AS UK passport holder I don't need any documents to live in france. I don't want to go to UK to get my visa as time is limited. it is a business trip with an invitation letter I have already.

Hi, Mukesh,Since applying Chinese visa in Bern requires Swiss resident permit or work permit, so I am afraid that you cannot apply in Bern. I suggest you to apply in France.The following documents are needed:
1. Your passport with a validity of more than 6 months and more than 2 blank pages;
2. Visa application forms: V2011A and V2011B attached with your recent photo;
3. Round tickets or book order;
4. Hotel orders;
5. Insurance certificate;
6. Proof of your work in France or your income proof document, or your proof of student status;
7. Other documents may be required, such as resident permit or temporary accommodation registration.

Good luck!
