About:China Transit Visa

Does a U.S. Military member on leave need a passport in order to lay over in China?

I am a U.S. Military member with out a passport. I am trying to fly from South Korea to U.S. there is a lay over in china and i am afraid with out a passport I will get deported.

Yes, you need a passport. Is it possible for you to get a temporary passport or a travel document from your embassy in S Korea?
