Panamanian National - Transit Visa

Hi, My Aunt is a Panamanian National who will travel to US together with his 17 yrs old son and has a lay over in HK only for 3-4 hrs and will not leave the airport. Do they still need a transit visa?

If they will remain on the airside, no visa is required.

Yes, I mean that if they just stay at the transit area in the airport and change plane afterwards, they do not need a visa.
