Hi,I had a willing employer in mainland China and when they went to process my work permit they were told that All applications concerning Filipino citizens were put on hold until the scarborough shoals dispute is resolved. I am now trying to apply for jobs in Hongkong, I'm just concerned if the immigration laws of Hongkong is in-line with Mainland china. Will employers be hesitant to hire me because of the same issue?

I think it's hard for a filipino to apply for any kind of China visa currently.
