About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I like to visit my son working for MNC in shanghai, what's the maximum period of stay am i allowed?

(1)A Chinese L Visa wil allow you staying in China for 1 month for each duration.
(2)But you can ask for a month extension at the Exit- Entry Administration Burea of Shanghai Public Security Burea at least 10 days before the duration time expires.
