What kind of bank account do i need to apply for Chinese visa

I have time deposit bank account and a savings account. Which is best to use? How much money do I need to have in the account? I also have a bank account in Thailand. Can I use that if I am applying in Manila?

You need to get an original bank certificate with receipt or original passbook, updated within the month that you are applying for China visa. If you will apply in Manila, you'd better use the one in Philippines.
