About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

I'm visiting china for the first time to attend exhibition. Should I get tourist or business visa

My colleague and I are visiting mobile expo and want to know whether we should apply as tourist or business. Event organizers are only issuing an invitation letter. However they didnt confirm whether they can send a Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit. If obtaining that becomes a difficulty, would you suggest us to consider Toursit Visa? If so what are the documents needed.

Yes, if there is difficulty to get an invitation letter of duly authorized unit, you can just enter China with an L visa. Please make sure that do not mention your purpose for attending the exhibition to the application form. For tourist visa application, you'd better provide -Return air ticket, 3 months bank statement, hotel reservation details, your travel itinerary.

I am afraid you need an invitation letter for both ways bussiness or tourist . Because china policy is for sri lankan you need at least 5 persons with you. I say its not easy . I am married to my chinese wife so for me it was easy and I got a visa from here too . so you need prove to get your visa .
