About:Chinese Consulate in San Francisco

Do we each need a separate visa application or one per family?

Family of four attending World Tomato Congress in Beijing (in June), followed by local sightseeing. Do we each need a separate visa application or one per family? Also, business or tourist visa?

You need four separate visas to China. Either F or L are ok. If you four members are all have invitation letter, F visa is better. If not, tourist visas L are enough.
