1.I think you can apply a visa on arrival at Shenzhen. The single entry five-day Tourist Visa is available at Luohu (Lo Wu) Port, Huanggang Port, Shekou Port and Fuyong Port.
2.The requirements are as following:
(1) Your valid passport
(2) complete a visa application form when you are at the port
(3) take a photo when you are at the port
(4) pay visa fee

Temporary visitors to Singapore should apply for a Chinese visa in their own country. For the special case, the visa officer has the rights to make the final decision on whether issuing a visa or not. If you are travelling in the world, you can't obtain a China visa in the Philippines because you will travel for a few months before going to China, a single entry China visa is only valid for 3 months, if you obtain a Visa in Philippines, it expires before you go to China, therefore, you have to apply visa en route, in such a situation, you can apply visa in Singapore and the visa officer will issue you a China visa in Singapore. Otherwise, your application will be denied in Singapore.
