About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I have Home-Visiting Certificate, Do I still need a visa to China？

Booked a tour from Singapore to go Japan and given a 2-days stopover in Shanghai. Can use 回乡征 to enter China and then use HK SARS passport to travel to Japan and return?
