How to get a China visa without China visa record.

I have an Iraq customer,he wants to come to China to sign the purchase contract,he hasn't gotten any China visa before.According to current law,he cannot get a invitation letter which is issued by government. My customer always goes to UAE for business purpose. Can he get any China visa, such as tourist visa, and what kinds of documents and materials shall he prepare?

If he will go to China to sign the purchase contract, I'm afraid he should apply for a China F business visa. You may write an invitation for him, and then apply for an confirmation of invitation from the local foreign affairs office.

You mean to write a company invitation to him or try to get a government invitation?

You first write a company invitation to him, then go to local Foreign Trade Economy Corporation Bureau or Foreign Affairs Office to apply a Confirmation of Invitation Letter for him, without the letter issued by a government, he can't apply for a business visa (F visa) to China. He has to apply for a tourist visa to China, but he can't click the major purpose of coming to China to sign purchase contract on the visa application form, he clicks tourism as the major purpose of coming to China on the application form, the invitation letter from a qualified international travel agency is required.
